Hey guys I just bought 2 pairs of opaque pantyhose from american apparel:
http://store.americanapparel.net/rsaph.html?cid=203
I LOVED my first pair from them, they fit great, looked great, felt great, and were made of good material (no bad runs after lots of use the past few months) They got 5 stars
As i said i got 2 new pair. Im wearing my white ones, and theyre just not the same. They look as if they have some sort of lustre online, but really they just look like pretty bland tights, not hose. They feel like tights, they dont have any sort of slippery hose feel. Theyre too small as well, and i have to stretch them a lot to even get them to fit on me, so i can see the pattern (you know what im talking about). Anyway theyre a real disappointment, so unless I can stretch them a lot (please give tips on this) i will probably throw them out
I think if you're not as tall as me they could still be a good product, the sizing is just really small compared to my first pair

Round 3:
As I said I had bought 2 pair, one in white, one in pink
I just took the pink pair out of the package, and it was about 5-6 cm longer than the white (even though it was the same size accordingly to packaging). So big fail by american apparel, as they mispackaged it, or worse: they dont have sizing standards.
Anyway I tried them on, and they fit quite a bit better than the white ones, I can actually pull them up all they way. They feel quite a bit better and look great: a dull pink with a sheen to it, I'm just really concerned about getting runs: the white pair got runs in like half an hour.
I wouldn't exactly recommend these to tall people like me (1.8 m) because it definitely feels like its made for a skinny girl at 1.6 m, but theyre not bad, especially because of their look and feel, but at least with this pair (not the "shimmer tights" which are pantyhose) the quality isnt really there. Id give them a 3.5 star

Hmm.. Nice indeed. No standards ... And the package is the same? Are the pantyhose labelled, BTW?
I've noticed that some warehouses can change the model without changing the name. For example, a local drugstore ("Kruidvat") sells fantastic pantyhose (2 shiny 15den pairs for 2.99 euro!!!). Same name (don't remember exactly, but something like Silky Sheen), but one package shows "sheer to waist" (what I usually buy) and another one "reinforced panty". I hope they are not going to replace one with another ...

they were exactly the same, both were labeled the "M/L" however the package was labeled, not the pantyhose.
It's weird too they changed their packaging from a few months ago (probably to save money), but i liked their old ones a lot better
Yeah! Thats what I'm looking for, a cheap pantyhose that has that extra touch (you know what im talking about, shiny, colorful, sparkly).
I was wondering, what do you guys think of dance tights? I've been meaning to buy some: http://www.capeziostore.com/Capezio-Ultr...p/1808.htm

Strange question. We love them! 😉
So far I've got only two pairs of Danskin Ultra Shimmery (see my last self-bondage sessions for photos). They are practically undestructible, look abd feel great.
Search for Danskin in both blog and forum - there should be a plenty of info. The professional tights have some interesting features.

Apart from Danskin, Capezio and Mondor make very similar hardwearing ultra-shimmer tights, all are excellent.

I'm planning to purchase some 'dance tights' soon, but am fascinated by the 'interesting features' - am I missing something fun?

Lots of pics of Katrina in Danskins here:

and a relatively low-res video:

Incidentally, I'm wearing Danskins under the cut-off fishnets in my avatar.
